This review article explores the recent advancements in lipid nanoparticles and their applications in pharmaceutical formulations. The article discusses various types of lipid nanoparticles, including solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs), nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs), and lipid-drug conjugates, highlighting their unique characteristics and advantages. The focus is on their potential to overcome challenges associated with traditional drug delivery systems, such as poor bioavailability, limited stability, and off-target effects.
